It was an awesome experience in China to be among people who love God with their whole heart but are not able to express this love openly as we do because of Communist Government restrictions. In secret meetings and behind closed doors, with curtains drawn and voices muted, God moved and met these hungry hearts. During the 10 days Xenn was there, people were riveted to their seats and were intent on absorbing every word of God that was shared. In a variety of meetings, 46 precious souls received the baptism of the Holy Ghost and 44 were baptized in Jesus name.



Well the Seah’s finally put 2 years of planning into action. We packed up our belongings and headed out on a summer of adventure, combining family visits with a cross country trek across North America to our new destination of Modesto, CA. We left all that was comfortable and familiar in Ottawa, ON., Canada on June 22, and after visiting family along the way we arrived in Los Angeles on July 13 to fly to Singapore. Barb and the kids remained in Singapore with family and friends while Xenn flew out the next day to China to minister in the underground churches in Shanghai and Beijing.


A highlight of our summer was the fact that our 6 yr old daughter, Erin, received the baptism of the Holy Ghost during a Children’s Church service while in Singapore. Praise God!



One young man in Shanghai received a miracle that led to the outpouring of the Holy Ghost for those that witnessed it. This man was a deaf mute form birth. After prayer and the laying on of hands, this man began to speak in an unknown language as he received the Holy Ghost. Soon it was evident that he had received his hearing as well. You can imagine that the place exploded with praise and thanksgiving.


After returning from Singapore, we flew to Vancouver, BC., Canada on August 8. We have recently set up a Bible School for 24 Chinese students. Bro. & Sis. Jobson are overseeing it’s operation. This is an exciting venture. During a Chinese conference there in May, 14 people received the baptism of the Holy Ghost and 12 were baptized.


We finally arrived in Modesto, CA. on August 17 to unpack our bags and settle in to our new life. Needless to say that with looking for a home and settling 2 children into the routine of home schooling, things have been hectic to say the least. We now put our energy to the task ahead – that is God’s work and reaching out to the hundreds of thousands of Chinese souls in the State of California alone. Since being here in CA., we are now working with a group of Chinese in Fremont. We have had some powerful house meetings with about 15 adults plus all of our children in attendance. This group is growing with each meeting we have. God continues to move in these last days and we are excited to be in the middle of it.
